Is that really true? Because I thought that you had to follow the package and labeling instructions for each medication? If it says to store between xx-xx temperature, then you should not allow it to be above or below that temperature. I don't think freezing or refrigerating medication that has specific storage instructions is a good idea!
I think the best thing to do would be to contact the pharmacist and ask for storage directions in terms of temperature. They have all of that information available in their computer. If it says not to store it under whatever temperature is in your fridge or freezer, then don't do it!
