Thanks for replying. I'm sorry you're having such a rough gb surgery recovery. I did read some of your previous posts. I hope your recovery takes a turn for the better soon!
I read in one of your earlier replies that the doc had found bile in your stomach during a scope. Did you experience gastritis from that? Is that where your particular gnawing hunger came from? And how is that now? Did the doctor ever suggest one of those procedures where they route the bile tube thingy (sorry - I'm a newbie) further down your duodenum to lessen reflux into the stomach? Just curious.

Rewind many years ago, I had similar problems to you. You are doing the right thing in taking the Prilosec but despite your hunger you need to watch what and how much you eat. You MUST not overeat or eat the fatty, fried food because that will only make you reflux worse. Drink plenty of water, exercise even if it is just taking a walk, eat right and if you are lucky that it all it will take. Good luck.
