Strange sensations

Hello all,

I'm having some troubles today. I took all of my regular medications today, but also took a Ginkgo Biloba vitamin because I was having trouble focusing. Well, anyway, every time I sit down...I pretty much fall right asleep. It takes me nearly a half hour to find the energy to be able to get back up. I just feel very, very weak. It's almost painful trying to hold my head and arms up because of the weakness. I'm kind of dizzy and am having trouble concentrating...but no headaches. I also feel almost like I'm not getting good circulation to my arms and legs for some reason. They just feel tingly and kind of cold. They don't hurt or anything though.

Does anyone know what might be going on?

Thanks

Re: Strange sensations

i take vitamins but do not have any of those severe symptoms, sounds more like a reaction to the medication you are taking or perhaps the onset of a viral infection. in any case stop taking the vitamins just in case and get to your doctor to review the medication and have a general check up.
all the best.

Re: Strange sensations

Ginkgo Biloba is not compatible with some medications. Best to see your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Some interactions are:

Anticonvulsant medications

Antidepressant medications

Antihypertensive medications

Blood-thinning medications

Blood sugar lowering medications

Cylosporine

Thiazide diuretics

Trazodone

Re: Strange sensations

I went and discussed it with my doctor and it WAS in fact some sort of reaction. After drinking lots and lots of water and resting, it finally was flushed from my system and now I feel perfectly fine. Thanks for all of the responses. I won't be taking that ever again!
