k, so my doctor told me to start taking the pill on the first day i start my period...i have which was a few days ago..but is it supposed to kick in this fast my bleeding is minimal to none.
It just be a coincidence. The pill can make your bleeding lighter but I don't know about the first week. I've always started the pill the first Sunday AFTER my period. I have no experience starting the day of your period.
I would not worry. It takes 3 months for your body becomes adjusted to the pill. So you may experince some spotting through out the month. Try to take them at the same time every day. Missing them can cause breakthrough bleeding.
What brand are you on? Some pills have been known to stop bleeding altogether.
That one has desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol. I use to take Mircette Apri, Desogen amd now I'm on Ortho Cept. They have the same kind of ingredients as Linessa. I'd give it time to adjust.
