Help - has anyone else experienced this

My 40 yr old daughter has experienced episodes of constipation for many years. Recently prescribed Miralax. End of May was hospitalized for 3 days, for extreme pain under her rib cage. Had elevated white blood cell count and abnormal liver readings. After treatment with antibiotics those readings were normal. Had colonoscopy - negative, 2 MRI, everything looked ok, gall bladder removed 4 yrs ago. 4 Weeks later, still experiencing pain off and on, excessive tiredness and is unable to eat more than a couple of bits at a time due to "feeling so full". Am frustrated that no one can seem to give a diagnosis as to what is wrong. THere is definitely something NOT right.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Sounds just like a person I know who was dxed eventually with pancreatitis. This can be chronic and recurring. Hope she gets well, Sera

Re: Help - has anyone else experienced this

I agree that it could be pancreatius, but she also needs an endoscopy. Not being able to eat more than a few bites could signal a growth. I would strongly recommend an endoscopy and an abdominal CAT scan. She should also have the CA 125 blood test for ovarian cancer. Some of her symptoms resemble early symptoms. I am not meaning to scare you at all, just want all of these things ruled out so she can get whatever treatment she needs as soon as possible.

Please let us know how she is doing!

I have had the same pain for 6 months, had every test and all negative. Did your daughter get any kind of diagnoses?
