Re: 5 weeks after hem op.

Hi Sherri, Yes I have heard of North Carolina, and you're right, New York always comes to mind when we think of America esp after that horrendous tragedy of the twin towers.
I live in Manchester, have you heard of it? Its in Lancashire. Im what you'd call a Lancashire Lass, born and bred on a farm, until I got married.
Aw bless are you itching really bad? Im past that now but I know its enough to drive you crackers!
Keep putting the cream on, it helps.
Yes I have seen the other threads, maybe they have read our experiences, I hope so coz it may help them to know that everybodys different, I feel that I have been very lucky on the pain side of things.

Re: 5 weeks after hem op.

Good luck Haku! Let us know how you are doing as soon as you feel up to it.

The itching didn't last too long. I put some nifedipine on it. Couldn't really tell if it help. I haven't had a bm today. That is about to scare the crap out of me. Well I wish it would. Hopefully I'm just back to normal because I would skip a day every now and then. I guess I'll find out.

Yes, I've heard of Manchester. I used to work for American Airlines and think we used to fly there. It is very embarrassing that European know more about our country than we know about yours. There are a lot of great things about the US but many of us are a spoiled bunch.

Re: 5 weeks after hem op.

I used to go for days pre op without a Bm, but not now, I go twice a day and what a difference! Having the op was one of the best things I ever did.
I get bloated a lot though, dont know if thats with the high fibre diet Im on or all the water Im drinking, maybe when my body gets used to it I will be ok.
I only had that itching for a short while but it always started at night when I went to bed, it drove me barmy!
Sun shining today at last! might get a bit of gardening done before it rains again.
