Re: Lymph nodes

My bf went to a doctor thinking he had a hernia and the doctor referred him to a surgeon. The surgeon found out it was Cat Scratch Fever. Gave him a month of antibiotics and has never reappeared since.

My lymph nodes in my back and under my jaw have been swollen for 2 months now and noon can find anything. All my blood work is normal. I am Bactrim now for 30 days. Only time will tell if they go down.

Re: Lymph nodes

I went to another doctor today who sent me to have blood tests done, which came back normal. Can I stop worrying about this now?

Since this was a new Dr., what exactly did he tell you he felt this was caused from, as opposed to what the other one did? Same? If so, and you have no other symptoms, as listed by that link I gave you pointing to something serious, I would take his advice, and not worry for now.

Just keep an eye on them, if they were to get larger, and you were to have any other symptoms, go back and let him know then.

Re: Lymph nodes

yes they are common but if you are having doubts it can't hurt to have it checked out again. better safe than sorry.

Re: Lymph nodes

Isis-
Yes..I know where my lymphnodes are located. The Dr's think it might be my back?? They do not know?? I have a disk bulging by my tailbone but they say no nerves are around it..so I should not have a bump or groin pain.

I have been forward and backward and been seen by about 15 Dr's..nothing. Some even told me to see a shrink..trust me if it would get better I would.

I do not have a virus and have had several blood tests done. No answers and I am in pain and well upset!!!
