Help my numbers wont go down with my insulin!

Well today I have been feeling like crap my numbers have been 300+ all day long I have doubled the regular ammount of insulin I normally take I dont get it! The past few weeks I was doing great numbers were all 120 and lower with like 1 unit of novolog per 20-25 carbs now today I have been taking like 1 unit per 10 carbs. I am under a crazy amount of stress right now tho but I have been for like 2 months now. My body feels so weak and I have been getting bad pains in my kidneys. The pain is not all the time but off and on its like a sharp pain makes me jolt sometimes. I have been very dizzy lately and have alot of anxiety. I am on xanex and ambien for stress and sleep right now. I took 4 units had 1 36 carb burger and it increased my numbers to like 310 mg/dl. I dont know what to do more insulin am I immune to it or something? I just got that pen out of the fridge and its new so I dunno. I was diagnosed with type 1.5 I guess I fall inbetween type 1 and type 2. They were high yesterday also like 250+. What should I do just w8t till tomorrow and call the doc? I have been also having a random pain in the back of my head not like a headache tho it seems to be like right where the brain stem is.... dunno if that has anything to do with it. I lived with high blood sugars for years and never knew it i was just diagnosed 2 months ago. When I went in my numbers were over 600 mg/dl. I dunno somedays I can eat low carb sandwichs all day and my numbers stay under 150 with no insulin at all.

Sounds like an overdose of carbs try testing every two hrs, I dont get insulin yet this is all new to me

pain in the kidneys is not good do fluids make it worse or does flushing the kidneys help? Cranberry juice is a natural cleaner for kidneys my advice

tell your diabetes consultant or make an appt. you might need to go to the hospital

take care

Could you be coming down with something? Some sort of infection? I know that I sometimes have warning about a cold just by the fact that my blood sugar goes up and won't come down again until I'm over it. I do take more insulin, but I do it a bit at a time because once I'm over the infection I come crashing down.

Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.
