do diabetes meds make it harder to lose weight?

I have been on Metformin for 6 months too, 1000 mg 2X daily, and have had no luck with weight loss. I think the max I have lost is about 8 pounds. I wonder if it is the combo of that and my blood pressure meds, or the anti-depressant, or the allergy pills.....sort of hard to figure out with so many issues at the same time. Glad it works for you though.

i take amaryl added it to my novolog havent gained any lost 5 pounds been taking it for almost a month now
