alcohol ablation

I have hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy with mitral valve regurgitation. I had an alcohol ablation in Nov. 2006 that was not totally successful and now I am told I need it repeated. If anyone out there has had an alcohol ablation can you please share your story with me? I am really nervous this time. I have recurrent atrial fib and I have to be cardioverted frequently. Had a cardioversion in May, June, and July of this year. MD says this ablation is necessary to prevent the atrial fib. I took amiodarone for 2 yrs. as well as atenolol , slow mag , and coumadin. Amiodarone was stopped after my ablation in Nov. and atenolol was increased. No a fib until may of this yr. and now I am taking sotalol 80mg twice daily instead of the atenolol.
