It's summer here in NZ at the moment and my skin is sooo much better-scarring is minimized and my zits go away pretty quickly.

Most definately in the spring and mostly summer months our skin is at it's best. On the other hand, some people fair better during the winter months. All I know is that our testestorone levels are higher during the fall/winter months and that might explain why we breakout so much more.

For me, I've always had an 8-9 month constant breakout period, DESPITE being on Topicals or BC, Avandia, or Spiro combinations. Now that I'm on a Gluten Free diet and a lower dose of Spiro my face and upper body is doing GREAT! I'm in the end of my breakout period and it hasn't ONCE looked like it this entire time. Wow....judging how I'm anywhere from 95-98% clear since I started this diet (7 months ago), this summer, my skin should actually be 100& clear vs. the usual 80%. =)

Edited to add-- I don't sunbathe or hang out in the sun very often. I absolutely dislike summer months, but my skin has always done better. It's gotta be a seasonal hormonal thing

The sun causes scar tissue to shrink, so that makes sense that scars look less aparent. Unfortuntately for me the summer and humidity where i live makes my skin 800 times worse.
