treatment for sudden pain in chest related to heart burn.

I awoke suddenly to pressure in my chest. I went to the ER and cardiac wise every thing was good. I have had this three other times and I take prilosec also. I went to ER with this pain again because it went to my jaw also. The ER Dr. suggested I had some sort of spasam and it stimulatd my vagus nerve. I have reserched this and have come up with esophageal spasam I am going for a scope with a Gastro specalist. and there is treatment for this. Nitro for one is a smoothe muscle relaxor and will help and if severe calcium channel blockers like cardizem will help.
