Unhappy still allergic to food!

hello!
its weird to be allergic to food. its almost one month ive been suffering with this bizarre sickness with hives almost on the whole body, and nearly got an anaphylactic shock. m being so stressed with these reactions.
i have been to the doctor and he prescribed me with solupred and atarax. these 2 medicines worked well. also am sticked to a severe diet of only vegetables (excluding green leafy vegetables, poultry, beef, pulses, wheat). is it that am high of protein that am having these reactions????
i was nearly out of danger when taking these drugs, but i have observed that taking a nutrient with high protein such as pulses results in having hives again. why is it so????
point to notice: i have a 5 months old baby which i breast-fed and fortunately does not show any allergic reactions.because of breastfeeding, i drank 5 glasses of milk everyday per meal (which means high level of protein).
usually breastfeeding milk content of protein is low for the baby to feed on. is it so that the level of protein i have taken is high in my body and thus my body is slow in using it???? please help in giving suggestions, am so stressed with these allergic reactions.

Re: still allergic to food!

one thing to note that your body handles stress in strange ways. The next is to know that you may have anything strange happen when your hormones are high. For instance, when I'm stressed I swell up with tuna fish, however; on a normal day I have no problem with it. I even test possitve with it on at a stressed time than a normal time. When I was breast feeding my oldest I didn't eat much meat because when I did I would hive out. The doctor actually told me that it was because of my hormones. My oldest doesn't have any food allergies (infact i'm not sure she has allergies at all!). It was just the oposite with my youngest I fed her and had no problems what I ate, but she did. I could eat anything without problem, but she stopped gaining weight and nearly died. The doctor also told me that if I was having the reaction my baby wouldn't--unless she was also allergic to the food. It doesn't sound like that your baby is-it's just you. My only concern would be to make sure the meds you are on doesn't pass through the milk.
You might want to ask your dr why he took you off some of those foods. Meats have protein but not as much as things like milk, nuts, ect. What I've learned to do is take the food and rub it on my face (that's the most sensitive) and wait a few minutes to see if you react. If you experience any itching, red bumps, anything don't touch it.

Re: still allergic to food!

thank you so much for replying.

thank God that my allergies are not so usual now.
but m still allergic......
i have re-introduce some foods which i have omitted these weeks, such as chicken, meat, even milk. am not allergic to them.
still i can say that am eating some foods that have "taste and flovour" (lol!!!!)

but what i can ssay, like today, i have tried to eat a little pulses, i mean lentils. i have taken only 1 tablespoon of it, now am having a hives shot.....
dont know why????
does eating grains cause allergy???

about my baby, he is perfectly fine. no allergic reactions, no any illness.

celiac disease, thanks for suggesting, i'll search about it.
maybe there is a way.
