I started using Astilin a month ago. About a week after that, when I awoke, I had very crusty deposits in my ears and nose. These became very itchy and I felt as though I wanted to scratch my ears out! At times, I would awake in the night and actually have fluid in my ears. And them came a crusty, itchy rash on my eyelids. I now have the first ear infection I have had in 30 years. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?
I was on Astelin for about 2 months a while back... it has some nasty side effects associated with it. I will NEVER take this drug again... it did all kinds of things to me. If you do a ****** search for astelin side effects there is a good site that actually lists real people's complaints and things they have experienced on it.

I used it ONCE last fall and will NOT use it again. I used it at lunchtime and by 1:00pm I was sound asleep hanging off the side of my bed for 3 hours. I was just lucky enough that my youngest child took a nap at the same time b/c I was OUT OF IT.
