Im 23, I have always been a healthy guy.
A little over a year ago I slept with a girl and got an infection. Tested for everything and it was all negative. It hurt when I would urinate and I felt strange/tingly all over. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and I was okay. I took them for quite awhile and was under a huge amount of stress(I thought I had caught something uncurable).
A couple weeks later I started to get a burning, itching feeling inside of my anus along with my testicles and penis area itching and tingling. Eventually the penis and testicles strangeness went away and my stomach starting hurting a lot along with the anus problems still.
Went to a couple urologist's and got tons of urine tests, blood test, exams, prostate fluid check all negative. At this time I didnt think the stomach or anus problems had anything to do with it(and may not).
Eventually the penis/testicle problem went away completely but the anus and stomach pain has been here for about a year, everyday. I have been to several GI doctors and have gotten a colonoscopy and several exams/blood tests with nothing positive except for the "You might have IBS".
Basically I am wondering if its possible I have a candida overgrowth that is living inside my anus and stomach. From what I have read on the forums and other sites it seems like the most likely cause of all of this. I have been on a no sugar/carb/wheat diet for the past week along with taking 4 probiotics/garlic pills daily. It just makes sense since this all started happening after I had gotten an infection originally, which im assuming was some sort of yeast infection from this girl.
Im going to my general doctor tomorrow(and going to my GI again in a couple weeks) to see if he can prescribe me some anti-fungus/bacteria drug like Diflucan (Fluconazole).
thoughts? I am weak and tired of this, please someone give me some help!
