Solodyn?

Is anyone else taking this medication for acne? If so, how long has it been taking to see an improvement in your skin condition etc? I was prescribed this by my derm almost two weeks ago and have not really seen much of a difference etc. Is this something that takes time or has it started working pretty immediately for you?

Thanks

Re: Solodyn?

Are you taking the time released one? I am taking the 90 Milligram extended release tabs. Just started using Duac tonight with this.... Have been on Tazorac and Duac before with AMAZING results... For over two yrs when I used the Taz as maintainence using it everynight, my skin was FLAWLESS... Will be starting that again too, but I really HATE the initial period when your face breaks out... Love the results, just a little impatient with the waiting...

Re: Solodyn?

Yea, I'm taking the 90 mg also. Along with that and spironolactone, I use Ziana at night and differin in the morning and I wash with a sulfur based wash. My face is clear and I started noticing a difference within the first week and in two weeks my face was greatly improved. Is been two months and my face is clear now. The only thing is that my face got really dry and itched. I used shea butter which really helped. The other thing I'm worried about now is the scar that I have from the acne.

Thanks for the response.. What kind of sulfer based wash are you using? Also I am not familiar with the other things mentioned. Are those things prescribed for females etc?
