It is possable that the lantus was bad!!! sometimes this happens/has happend to me before...... dont use the same vial again use a new 1 and see what happens, worked for me

I don't use the bottles, I use the Opticlick Pen. I've been on it about a year, gradually increasing my dose as needed. I've been on 88 for quite a few weeks now.

I only took 82 this morning just in case. As of right now my blood sugar is a disgusting 294. Tomorrow I'll go to 84 and work my way up to 88 by Saturday.

Sorry everphill, I didn't read your suggestion until after my dose. I did use the same cartridge, it was okay, nothing strange happened.

When Lantus is going bad, it doesn't work, it doesn't work more.

Okay... it did for me i had the same problem, changed the Lantus and then no problem.

Maybe it was just coincidence
