frustrated...

so i have now grown quite a few spots on the "good" side of my face and i'm REALLY frustrated, so i have a few questions which i would appreciate if you could answer:

1 - how long do i leave an asprin mask on for? and using lemon juice is a good idea?

2 - now that cooler weather is coming, will cooler temperatures help my spots fade/go away? the same kind of idea that putting ice on spots reduces redness/helps it go away?

3 - please tell me any good/efficient products that can help reduce the scarring.

4 - what kind of things can a doctor/dermatologist do for you on the spot to take away spots? like, injections or something?

finally, 5 - how worthwhile is a skin peel? and can you point out any good ones that i can buy on the internet?

appreciate ANY help.

Re: frustrated to ****...

Hi,

I don't now the answer to all your Q's but yeh a derm can give you an injection of contrisone in a cyst, but since you UK like me if your not private you'll have to get a referral which can take a couple of months. You could get put on some meds to.

I think you only leave the asprin mask on for like 20 mins or so, no harm in leaving it longer just I think thats all it needs.

And with the weather it really all depends on yourself.

Re: frustrated...

thanks for the reply, can anyone else help?

also, another question.

what sorts of medication are there for acne that your dermatologist can perscribe?

in terms of, accutane, tazorac, minoxycycline(?), doxycycline, etc.

i will go to the doctors soon, so if i knew a list of the medications, it would be great.

if also you could say what seems to work best, what doesn't work best, that would be great.
