Question Diarrhea and Z Pack

Just finished my 5 day Rx of Azithromycin and hope the worst is over. Took it on empty stomach for first 3 days (now I know better) and had very little food on my stomach due to lack of appetite from URI. Well I get the Big D but only once a day...about 4 hours after taking this Rx. (Can eat other times with no problems at all!!) How long can I expect this to go on??

Re: Diarrhea and Z Pack

That should go away with in a few days. I too had the same thing when I was taking the Z Pack. I would recommend eating yogurt with, and my spelling is probably going to be horrible here, acidophillis as that will help. There is also an acidophillis in a vitamin form if you don't like yogurt.
