My back-

I have never had acne then I turned 50, and now I have like 40 pimples on my back!
Any advise, has anyone else experienced this? I'm already taking frutels-

Hi,

I know what it feels like. I've had bacne forever.

The thing that has really worked for me is tea tree oil soap. Dr. Bronner's has a good one, but there are other brands. I put it on a bath sponge in the shower. It's nonirritating and leaves a nice clean feeling. It's done a lot to clear up the pimples on my back. I'm also on Retin A Micro, which has worked pretty well on my face but never cleared my back. I'm 95% clear on my back now.

Wash with Oxy wash (benzoyl peroxide) every day, leaving it on the shin for a few minutes to act before rinsing it off.

Hi Dreamweaver,

I am 40 and can relate. Salac is terrific for back acne. There is no prescription required, however, most pharmacies do not stock it. They can order it for you and it will be there in a day or two. Its a wash and I just apply it in the shower each morning with a shower back/body brush
