period during my third week of active pills

Hi everyone,

I am currently taking Solia (generic of Apri) I have been on it since August and really have not had any problems with it (it's my first time using the pill so I was happy that i didn't have any weird side effects)

On Sunday I started my 3rd week of Active pills, and Sunday night i started bleeding. I thought i was just spotting a little bit so I put on a liner. But this has lasted all week like a regular period.

So in 2 days I will be starting the placebo pills, does that mean i'm going to have another period? I have no idea why this happened as I am very good about taking the pill at the same time and have not missed a pill at at all.
Thanks

Re: period during my third week of active pills

that exact thing happened to me and I continued to bleed until the saturday of my placebo week, it was horrible, but my doctor said not to worry and to keep an eye on it next month! good luck!
