I can't use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid...I have rosacea as well and it irritates my acne

I will give the Evening Primrose a try.. I have read some really good reviews about it on the internet so we will see

I've heard good things about the herb Vitex (Agnus Castus). Worth researching maybe? It balances out your hormones, and is particularly helpful with those suffering from Cushing's Disease. Do a search on it + Acne.

Not long ago there was an article that talked about a study done on women who had hirsutism. They gave them spearmint tea to drink around the time they get their period and it helped with the hirsutism. It helped reduce free testosterone but more studies need to be done. I am going to try the tea to see if it helps with my oily skin even though I don't have hirsutism.

I gave the spearmint tea a try and its working for me. I tried 3 diff. brands and I'm happy that I found spearmint tea that is cheap and not hard to find. The plantation mint-just black tea and spearmint has made my skin less oily. I started looking for a cure for my oily skin so long ago and I tried to get spiro. Because of circumstances I went looking for a diff. alternative. I read about spearmint tea and how it reduced free testosterone in the blood on women with hirtuism and I thought maybe this would work for my oily skin. My skin gets oily but the difference I see is worth it.
