Hi I just checked my sugar. I have a one touch ultra my level is 412. I took my shot almost an hour ago. please I need some advise here. I take 20 mg. novolog 70/30 and 25 mg. lantus. I really need some help here I have been watching everything that I eat strickly so please help
Why didn't you call your Dr? Always drink a ton of water when you have a severe high. Did you check your bg 2 hours later? If its still high take another dose...5 u. Let us know how your doing....Jen
Lovemy.. I would ask your Dr. about putting you on a fast acting insulin (Novolog) instead of the split. You would get a better action time and could better manage your numbers.
