I've heard of people developing acne when they start to take prednisone or cortef, but what about other skin changes? i developed some small white bumps on my face (not acne) which have not gone away or changed in weeks. i am wondering if it's related to the predisone i am taking.

I had a similar problem when I started taking DHEA, I am on Cortef and Fludrocort. The white bumps were on my face and looked like a rash. It was not acne and I did nothing different to it but it cleared up on it's own after about a month. I have had no problems with it since. This happened back in May-June of this year. I was diagnosed Feb. 08, 2007. How long have you had this?
I think i've had it about a month. possibly a little longer. it sounds like the same thing but it's hard to tell. it's practically invisible, i just don't like it
i have been taking prednisone and florinef since july.
so the "rash" developed about 3 months after i was diagnosed.
I'm going to ask my doctor the next time i go in, I just forgot last time.
Yeah, you couldn't really see mine either but I too didn't like it. It just felt really gross. I will be curious to hear what your Dr. says it might be.
