Question Newly diagnosed - Questions about prescribed Adderall

I'm new here and was recently diagnosed with ADHD (about 2 weeks ago.) I"m 28years old and a single mom. I have some questions regarding my medication. I was prescribed Adderall XR -15mg. For the first week it had me very calm/focused. Later in the day I was constantly yawning. Is this normal? Now, it doesn't make me as tired, but I'm still calm- especially in the mornings, but by 2 in the afternoon my mind is wandering again. My question is this: Is it too soon to tell if I"m on the right dose? I was also prescribed clonidine .1mg to help me sleep. Please help!!

Re: Newly diagnosed - Questions about prescribed Adderall

In a word - No, it isn't too soon to talk to your doctor about whether this is the right dose for you.
