hair

I took Ortho Tri Cyclen for 2 years, I started to have hair loss and got off the pill. Hair got extremely worse. My hairdresser also let me know (which lead to me balling my eyes out in my car). Nevertheless, after several months that seemed like years, it got better. I think your hair will go thru changes whether on the pill or not. You just need to ride it out-don't switch pills or go on and off pills. I have very thin hair-I know the pain. Just remember that for now while you are washing or brushing your hair, try to zone out and throw the excess wad of lost hair away. Don't count, don't look, just throw it away. It'll get better.

Re: hair

I agree, too many hormone switches really wrecks havoc on your hair. I had major hair loss on Estrostep FE (another triphasic pill). I'm not on any pill at all now and my hair is much healthier.

Re: hair

Hi,Hiiiyah!
I am also dealing with hair loss and have some questions. Maybe you could help me with it. I was on Yasmin for three months and now I am off of the pill and I'm taking progesterone(duphaston). Is it possible your hair might fall out if you don't take any bcp but used to in the past. I am so desperate. Any advice on this board would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!
