May be allergic to Salicicyl Acid?

I have used Salicicyl Acid several times but yesterday I put on my face a new vitamin regimin that had it in it. By the end of the night my face was bright red, on fire and burned like mad. Now my face is itching like it's on fire, and looks like it's been burned. Can this make your face burn and itchy and dry?

Sure it can. This may be a result of the winter weather with it's cold and dry air, coupled with drier indoor weather because most of us heat our homes in the winder (thus, having drier air).

Are you puffy or oozing? If yes, I would recommend you see a dermatologist right away.

What strength are SA did you use?

I don't know the strength of it. But I wasn't puffy or anything. It's just like my skin was on fire and I didn't know how to stop it. I ended up taking a benadryl in order to help out with the redness and itching of it.

Ok. I finally figured out what was causing this horrible reaction. I'm apparently allergic to the bare minerals makeup i was beginning to use.
