Bactrin

Can you take bactrin while you are pregnant and it's the early stages of pregnancy

Hello Niki!

I've never heard of Batrin but just in case you meant Bactrim the answer is probably no. This is something you'll want to discuss with your Physician as Bactrim is in the FDA catergory C and it's not known whether the medication will harm an unborn baby. Although, this medication does affects folic acid in your body, which is necessary for the normal development of a baby.

Again, I'd definitely discuss this with your current doctor if you're planning on using the medication. Miss-P
