Post Re: adrenal? should this happen after exercise?

SherryE57,

I was diagnosed with Addison's in March 2006. I had it when I came out of the coma I was in. The doctors say they do not know what caused the coma but the more research that I do the more likely it was the Addison's that caused the coma. I have been on my meds since I came out of the coma and I hate to tell you but the weakness and fatiuge does not go away. I am doing better with the dizziness and nausea but still have bouts of them also. I also have diabetes, asthma, and a subtotal hystorectomy to deal with. I take 2.5 mg of prednisone in the morning and 2 mgs in the afternoon.I also take fludrocortisone acetate 0.1 mg on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I also have to take actosplus met, humolog, and lantus for diabetes. crestor for cholesterol, I also deal with osteoporsis, gastroparesis, GERD,anxiety, and dry mouth due to the Addison's. I can also tell you it does not matter what time I take the afternoon dose I still have trouble sleeping. Talk about a confusing mess to deal with. I now am dealing with something going on with my liver. Bloodwork showed elevated enzymes and my team of doctors are very concerned about it. I go back to the doctor on Thurs so wish me luck!

Oh Gosh I do hope that you all get some answers and are feeling better sooner than later! I truly believe that there is a better quality of life once
all your meds are dosed correctly for your needs and by the sounds of all you have going on it might take a while. Hang in there though!
