My bp is 228 over 118!! Shouldn't I be dead???

I've never had blood pressure higher than 140 over 90. Usually it's 130/80.

Are you being treated for HBP? Was there an event that precipitated this episode. Did you go to the ER? What were your symptoms when your B/P was that high?

I had a horrendous infection in my jaw that got into my bloodstrean before Christmas. Before that I had normal blood pressure.

I just started Prinivil today. Hope it works.
