My daughter has had a fever for 9 days. She was put on omnicef-didnt work, then cleocin, did not work. They think it is a different kind of bacteria so now they put her on doxyciline 100mg 2 times a day. Dose seem high?? I asked the pharmacist he said no, the pdr book in cvs noted a smaller amount. Is anyone out there familiar with this antibiotic and dosaging????
