my mum has been suffering from internal pile quite a lot recenlty she has tried creams and surposatries (tables that you put up your bum) im not sure if there called that. Any home remadies for this would be great, we have been to the Doctor and he has said theres not much else he can do because there not big enough to be removed. It only hurts when she goes the the toilet for a bowel movement there no blood just painful and uncomftable
I'm sorry for your mom's troubles. My hubby has internal fissures so if he doesn't keep alot of fiber in his diet, he passses blood and it's painful. What his doctor reccommended to him was to eat a high fiber cereal every day and drink lots of fluid. He eats fiber 1 which has 14 grams of fiber per serving. I also have him taking Miralax which is now an OTC rather than by script. The combination keeps the stools extremely soft so that it isn't painful to go to the bathroom.
Your mom is going to have to try and find what will work for her. She will need to add enough fiber compound to her diet to keep her stools soft enough that it won't irritate the piles so it won't hurt when she goes.
