Migraines and Anxiety Meds

I suffer from migraines and take meds daily for this which help me greatly. I have recently started Buspar for anxiety but have noticed that my head hurts. It is not a migraine and not a typical headache. It is on the sides of my head right above the ears. I was wondering if anyone else who has taken Buspar has experienced this.

It could be the mixture of the 2 meds you are taking,.

I know with Celexa and Zoloft I had headaches when I first started for a couple of days.

How long have you been on Buspar? What are you taking for your migraines?

I have only been on the Buspar for about 5 days now, and I take Zonegran for migraines. BUT I also take thyroid meds, Birth control pills, atenolol, prevacid, and am supposed to take actos, but have not started that yet, because I feel like a walking prescription!!! Thanks

When I alter the dosage on my SSRIs I get a headache. I actually stopped taking Zoloft for this reason but Effexor did not cause the headaches until I went off it. Wait a week or two and it will probably go away once you have built up a level of the med in your sytem and maintained it for a while.
