Re: Feel light-headed, queasy and have a headache

The only thing I can think of is the Biaxin. Were you having this before taking the medicine? Are you light-headed all the time or just certain times like when you stand up too quickly? I sometimes get like that if I get up from sitting too long or if I bend down for a few seconds and then stand up. I was just reading on the headache forum and someone was describing the same symptoms you're having and mentioned Vertigo. I've been relentlessly looking on the internet for an answer for you. I'm not able to do anything else right now because I have severe back problems and just found out that I have to have surgery. Plus, I have the flu. YUCK
I'll keep looking for you. I know what it's like to feel like that. I tend to get like that when I get migraines. I just stay in bed until it's gone. Most of the time the only thing that gives me some relief from the migraine is Motrin. Out of all the pain meds that I have, that's the one thing I can take that works. Go figure. Well, I hope you're doing better. I wish you well sweetie!

Re: Feel light-headed, queasy and have a headache

The dizzy feeling was constant - at the worst when I would lay down, and not quite as noticeable when I was walking. I also considered vertigo, but I don't really get that feeling like the room is spinning. It's kind of hard to explain...it kind of feels like I just get a little zoned out and I need to give my head a quick shake to clear my senses. But head shakes don't help the problem.

I am happy to report, though, that I did manage to overpower the dizziness and fall asleep for a few hours.
