Ice it for 10 - 15 minutes, then apply BP (Benzoyl Peroxide) and a retinoid like Retin-A. Alternate them every hour. Apply a sulphur product like Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask overnight.
I use a hot washcloth to press down on the pimple until it feels like it's brought the head to the surface. You can do this by steaming you face as well. I go to an esthetician and she steams my face until my pores are open, then extracts anything inside them. It's okay to pop your zits if they're ready to come out. Just don't force anything. I usually apply a topical after that that has glycolic or salicylic acid in it.
