The Kariva Birth Control

Hi there,

I took Kariva for about 2 weeks and stopped it immediately. I was very depressed, broke out all over my face (and I am not one to have pimples or acne), and I lost my appetite completely, not to mention my libido.

oh yes my libido took a dive. I just stopped mine hope it comes back soon

Hello all,

Reading these post are very disturbing to me. I just took my first pill yesterday. I decided to look Kariva up and thats how I found this website. I was hoping that this pill would be good for someone who has very painful and heavy periods. I have high estrogen levels so this was suppose to be good because of its low dose. Also, the thinning of hair, mood swings, breakthrough bleeding, painful intercourse, etc, are not comforting as well.
I'm not sure if I should take the next dose but I will talk with my OB/GYN about this.
