Question high blood pressure concern

I went to the doctors only 4 days ago...My blood pressure was 184/116.They put me on the generic for Lotrel at 10/20. I have been reading these posts and many people are on a another drug to lower there pressure also.I do not have another appointment for 3 more weeks..Is this a concern?

Re: high blood pressure concern

Lotrel is usually given when other blood pressure medications haven't worked, but even still it is still an effective way of reducing low blood pressure.

Looking at the advice with this drug, you need to make sure you drink plenty of water to help the drug work effectively. 6-8 glasses a day.

If you have concerns then book another appointment with your doctor sooner and talk to him/her about it.
