Re: always tired

I have had problems with fatigue and daytime sleepiness for years. I was often so tired that I would sometimes have trouble staying awake while driving to work in the morning. In the last year I have added both modafinil (Provigil) and Concerta (long-acting methylphenidate or Ritalin) to my regimen and I feel like a new person. I still have days when I sleep too much and feel tired, but I feel so much better. I have my life back and can count on productive days and having fun again. I don't feel wired at all and seem to sleep well. I had been given a possible diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but now I don't think that that was accurate at all. I don't know what the source of the fatigue is and I'm not sure I ever will. I've had all sorts of tests and nothing has ever come up.I guess it really doesn't matter now.

Did your Doctor prescribe both ritalin and modafinil to be taken together? Have you noticed any side effects yet? I'm just wondering if mixing the two has any adverse effects.
