Off and on for the last couple of months my right eye would become very dry and bloodshot- it was worst in the morning- my left eye was always fine....
I would add 'Refresh Liquigel' drops to my right eye, and that would cause the dry eye and bloodshotness to fade- for awhile....
Some days its fine, other days I wake up and feel my right eye stinging a bit...On those days i dread looking into the mirror because I know my right eye will be totally bloodshot- But sure enough, the liqugel drops causes the dryness to fade and bloodshotness to fade- for a few hours...
Lately by bottom right eyelid has been twitching on its own- I THINK the eye drops are the cause, I could be wrong....The twitching is driving me batty....
What could be causeing my dry eye?
I'm 39 years old...
In 2001 I had surgery to repair the blocked and infected drainage tube that connects the corner of my right eye to my sinuses- It got really infected, my whole face swelled up- but they did a great job, and the tube seems free of obstruction- if I hold my nose and blow, i feel air coming out of the corner of my right eye....
Could my surgery from 2001 have some releationship to my dry eye-
Or is it just being 39 years old, and this is just a sign I'm getting older?
I do put psoriasis medicine and someltimes moisturizer on the bridge of my nose, as I get psoriasis on my face, so mabey this is the cause....
HOW do I cure the dry eye in my my right eye? My vision is fine..
