Tapazole and insomnia/weight loss

Does anyone know if Tapazole will cause insomnia and weight loss?
I have not been able to sleep the last 3 nights and have lost 4 pounds since starting it 6 days ago. No change to my diet.

Hi! You still have stored thyroid hormone that is still being released. Six days isn't long enough for the Tapazole to work, you're still feeling the effects of too much thyroid hormone, give it about 3 weeks to feel a change.

I talked to Elaine Moore about this and she said that tapazole blocks iodine production and it could be what is causing my weight loss (down another pound from yesterday - oh and I am not complaining!! )
as for the insomnia, I slept very well last night I think my lack of sleep caught up to me. I think I will sleep well tonight also I am dog tired!
