Very oily skin type--what can help?

Hi everyone,
Besides Accutane (I'd love to try it, but because of the risk of birth defects should an accidental pregnancy occur, I will not try it.)
What can help when one's skin type is very oily?

Benzoyl Peroxide 5% applied at bedtime after washing makes a big difference within a few days.

carrying some packets of wipes (Alcohol Swabs are great, wet ones or cosmetic wipes might be less harsh) around so you can wipe down during the day whlps.

Try applying a thin layer of Milk of Magnesia (i.e. the indigestion stomach remedy) to your skin, I find it really works...... well unless you overuse it then your skin gets used to it.... also notice that virtually every so called "medicated" shine treatment contains the active ingredient Magnesia

Queen Helens Mint Julep Mask helps some with my oily skin. Neutrogena on the spot acne treatment helps as well.

i was prescribed accutane for this. do you have humongous pores to? i have the script but am afraid to take it cause of side effects but thats how hopless my case is, but you should try levulan w/ blue light or v-beam, it works well on oil for alot of people, i just seem immune to anything, no OTC product has helped me, or retina, good luck, lemme know how it goes, shelly
