I have a feeling I have asthma. Went thru a yr of hell being sick & then was told I had COPD. Well I stopped smoking (which I thought was causing cough) but I still all of a sudden start coughing like my throat is closing up & then my nose gets filled up. Sometimes I cough up some white thick mucus.
The lung Dr had prescribed Pulmicort Flexhaler for the COPD but didn't say anything about asthma, that was awhile ago. Anybody have this problem?
Sorry to hear your having such a problem. Did they do a lung function test? Chest x-rays??? By the way I saw one of your old posts on the skin board go there I posted a message there for you.
I've had all the tests you can have was microbacteria that has improved some plus COPD but this is in my throat just once in awhile on one side feel it dry out & need to cough, non productive.
