All my problems have been adrenal failure

For a year I have been tested, had biopsies, CS,MRI's & tons of Dr's. I went from 148lbs which I have been most of my life, I'm tall so it was fine to 110lbs, looked like skin & bones. I had no energy tired all the time & even felt like I had a nervous breakdown. I felt unsure of myself (from very outgoing) just wanted to stay home & depressed. Well they sd some kind of bacteria & also COPD since I smoked. Some women who is into reiki etc mentioned she felt I had adrenal problems. I got the book I saw on here about it & saw alot of symptoms I had. Today I went to a Chiro who also does alot of tests & is into herbs & stuff. He sd after the tests your adrenals are shot, sd I must have had alot of stress. I did, raised my grandson w/chronic lyme disease & he was so sick also had my Mom living w/us who had dementia & going to prisons to see my daughter who was a drug addict. I thought I was handling everything real good & then it felt like my whole body shut down including my brain. He gave me 2 things to take Adrenal Desiccated & Drenamin sd it may take a year to get them working right. The reg Dr's never even mentioned Adrenal problems & it drove me crazy to not get an answer to what was wrong with me.

Re: All my problems have been adrenal failure

Yes, for some reasons, docs are slow to pick up on endocrine issues...I call them endummies for a reason...
But I would still go see an endocrinologist and get all your hormones checked to find out if you are primary or secondary so that you can figure our if you have additional issues as well... like potato chips, you usually cannot have just one. You will feel better is you get treated for them all and you may need florinef (as well as salt tablets).

Re: All my problems have been adrenal failure

I like the taste of sea salt a lot more so that is what I use on my food... but ironlcally it has less sodium.
I take 1 to 2 grams a day in tablet form daily. If you crave it, listen to your body. After all, the whole thing is that you cannot hold on to salt and it can lead to a dangerous situation (adrenal crisis).

Re: All my problems have been adrenal failure

I see the sea salt has 590mg, we need more then that? Also where do you buy the salt tabs in drug store? I'm asking alot of ques but this is new to me as far as finding out I have it. What happens w/adrenal crisis? Were you under alot of stress? I have been for yrs but just kept going like a hero until I crashed & I guess my body had enough.
