Azilect

We went to see a new movement disorder specialist
here in town and he put my husband on Azilect. He
said it's supposed to slow the progression of PD. He
has only been on it a week so we can't really tell any
difference yet. Is anyone else on Azilect? Thanks

Re: Azilect

I have Parkinsons and have been on Azilect for a year. I don't know whether I would be worse without it, but believe that it is helpful for slowing PD. Be sure that you read the literature on it because it can cause problems with certain foods and medications.

Re: Azilect

I've been on Azilect about five months. I can't tell if it does anything except take a bite out of the pocketbook ($50 copay) but the literature is promising so I'll stick with it for now.

My Dr also put me on Azilect, I have chosen to go on LDN - Low Dose Naltrone instead. There is some promising research done on it....check it out!
