prostate brachy therapy

experiencing pain in the penis after 4 years and by now 5 years - having to go to the bathroom from every 30 min to about 2 hrs because of the pain - there is no pressure that I have to go but if I dribble a few drops it feels better - pain gets worse when I walk, bend down, getting in and out of the car and riding on rough roads, sneezing, coughing - did a 10 day cleansing diet (nothing to eat only drinking a type of lemonade) and felt good during that time

Re: prostate brachy therapy

These don't sound like routine side effects from the seeds. What have your doctors said about this- as to cause and what can they do to help?

Re: prostate brachy therapy

doctors said: it's side effects from the brachy therapy and all kinds of tests have been done such as: ct scan, colonoscopy, endoscopy, cystoscopy and MRI - everything turned out negative

Re: prostate brachy therapy

Have you tried any prescription drugs, such as flomax or any of the over-the-counter drugs to help with burning when urinating? Or drinking 100% pomegranate or cranberry juice. Given that all the tests are negative, it would seem like there's some help in your future. Maybe some new doctors for their take?

Re: prostate brachy therapy

it doesn't burn when urinating - the pain is in the penis and disappears for a while after being able to dribble a few drops - flomax doesn't help against the pain
