Help-Withdrawal from Lortab!!!!!!

I ran out of my prescription on Tuesday, well I had only two left, but I cannot get my RX until in the morning. I have only had 1 7.5 mg tablet in over 48 hours. I have been taking Xanax periodically during the day, but I basically don't feel to bad. I still have one 7.5 mg. tablet with me, and I cannot pick up my RX until tomorrow between 9:30 & 10:30. Since it has been a couple of days since I have had any substantial amounts of Lortab, that maybe my withdrawals aren't going to be so bad? I have taken alot more Lortab in a day that is prescribed, but since Tuesday I have only had like 4 pills.

Should I be having worse withdrawals than I am. One time a couple of years ago, I took Ultram for a month or two, and when I ran out, I quit taking them, and at that same time, I had run out of my anti-depressant, oh my gosh, I had the week from hell. I never want to go through that again. I feel pretty good right now, but I have taken 2 xanax today. I guess I am just trying to get some input into whether I should expect it to be worse tommorrow, or if this is the extent of the withdrawals.

Re: Help-Withdrawal from Lortab!!!!!!

Hi, I am sitting in front of my computer trying to distract myself because today is the day I am going to the MD for Suboxone. I have been taking Lortab for a long time, prescribed and very addicted....I hope you take back your power too and find a MD soon, I will take my first dose of Suboxone today at 3:30 pm. I am sick of taking Lortab , it has taken over my life .There is help for you too.

Re: Help-Withdrawal from Lortab!!!!!!

How long were you taking the Lortab and in what quantity? I'm sorry if you have written this before but I haven't been on here in a long time. I used to take opiates on a regular basis and when I went off I did it on my own. Which was not easy. But at the time I was too afraid to admit to my doc's that I needed the help. If you have that option I would recommend it! But if not, it is possible to do on your own. It takes work though. But if you write back a little more info I might be able to help you more with tips, etc... of what I did. Also, if you could write why you started taking them. I know for myself I had a severe pain problem for many years and that is what got me hooked on them. But I can try to help as best I can! Just need more info.
