Hi, Nevah75. Sounds like there's a lot going on and we'd love to offer our experiences.

You've told us the diagnoses, but what do you think are the biggest specific problems facing your family?

Do the kids get in trouble in school? Are they learning ok? Are things chaotic at home? What does Dad have to say about all this? Are you satisfied with everyone's medications, or lack of medications?

Re: any advice on a balance

hi janewhite......my kids do great at school....both straight a students......8 yr old has a reading level 3 grades above where she is ...it is at home where the problems are.......they can't concentrate to get things done...it takes my 10 yr an hour to unload the dishwasher.....and it's a small dishwasher!!!!!my 8 yr old shows anger anytime i ask her to do any thing....they have been working with a case manager for the last 4 yrs nothing seems to help... i've tried the chore chart job and reward jars the specific action charts everything....nothing has helped...am getting very frustrated.......they fight almost constantly.......their biological dad is not very consistant in their life and my husband (their step dad) is a crude oil truck driver not home til late evenings.....and he pretty strict with them they do not give him much trouble......he believes they do not need their medicine....they are both on risperdal........I'm at my wits end!!!!!!!!!!!! and their behaviors are rubbing off on their little sister.......she has started throwing things and hitting...is it possible that i could have 3 kids with add or adhd??????? 2 is hard enough!!!!!! I'm doing all the techniques they have taught me in the parenting classes nothing has worked!!!!!!!!!
