Information on Cyclessa

Hello, been a while guys!
Okay just got my new prescription after being on Yasmin for two years :-( it just got too expensive. Planned parenthood gave me Cyclessa. First off, is there a name brand to this pill, if so what is it? Anybody have any positive/negative results they would wanna share? Im nervous to start a different pill though, its gonna take all that time to get use to it again ugh! Not excited! But im mostly concerned about weight gain, libido, and acne. If anyone has anything to share about this pill please do. I like to know as much as possible before i start taking it on the 27th.
Thanks!!

Re: Information on Cyclessa

I'm not familiar with Cyclessa. But I just looked it up on the internet and it said it's the generic for Apri, Desogen, Kariva, Mircette, Ortho-Cept, and Solia. That being said, I have experience with Desogen - I hated it. It sucked bigtime. The breakthrough bleeding and spotting was annoying enough but it also totally killed my sex drive.

But that was what happened to me. Just because it happened to me doesn't mean it will happen to you. I don't think you should worry about it necessarily until after you've taken it for a while and just monitor your side effects. It's not that big of a deal to switch. I did it all the time when I got sick of whatever I was taking at the time. Just see how it works for you and then make your decision. I personally wouldn't go by what anyone else's experience was, only because you're not them and there's a very real possibility that you won't have the same problems. Or you will. There's just no way to know until you try it.
