Bowel Movements, acidity

Friends, i am going through ir-regular bowel movements if i could define it well for nearly last 2-3 months.
i pass squeezed stools like from a toothpaste tube and do it in the morning when i feel little pressure. i do feel the pressure once in the morning. But whatever i pass (usually little) i pass in only one go that is first time only. I feel i am not done and want to pass more but it feels like the valve is closed whatever i try. Like i am not able to pass through the final opening. i feel my intestines are full and any time if i pass gas i feel releived also. Later in the day as i have breakfast i develop a little more pressure and pass little , again squeezed like , stools. i must mention i also am suffering from acidity in stomach for which i take antacid tablet twice or thrice in a week. Could it be related to that.?? i am not constipated in the strickest semse.
i have already done endoscopy of stomach and there it was reported by doctor that i had helicobacter poly virus that caused acidity. For that i took antibiotics for 2 weeks. i also did ultrasound of stomach that also was normal as per doctor.
i am scared to go through some vigourous clinical tests. what to do??
Could anybody help with some opinion.
thanks.. rforraina

Try Miralax, it will absorb water into the stools and then you will have the urge to empty out but not have diahreah. It is amazing how well Miralax works. It is now over the counter.

Re: Bowel Movements, acidity

Dear Misty, thanks for your advice. But Miralax is not available here. i took Biolax (hope it is same composition as Miralax). i took 2 tabs once at night. i do take herbal laxative at night before sleeping and also psylium power in the morning with a glass of water upon waking up. i do go the toilet everyday but pass little quantity and that too soft stools- not at all hard. i do go again sometimes to the toilet during the day and again pass some although lesser quantity than that in the morning. i feel i am passing out now. Today for the second time in the toilet (in the afternoon), i found some WHITE type of soft thing sticking to my stools. Although it was very small quantity but i got disturbed as what it is. Most of the stools were dark brown -yellow only. i tried to check with a stick but soon it got dissolved somewhere and i just flushed down. i also feel mild pain on my sides , just above the hips.Mild pain also aroud lower back sometimes. i wonder is this all related.
Pl advice.

Have you had your liver checked? Also, the white thing could have been mucous.
