PainsofXavior, we need to give you an acronym, such as "PX". we will wait to see if that's O.K. with you. Otherwise I will continue to address you as: Mr. PainsofXavier. You can call me WB, if you'd like.
I'm very happy that the baths help as much as they do. Yes, do clean the tub. If you do get a lady freind over, the dirty tub will be your undoing. Plus, a clean tub is part of the relaxation aspect. (I did advise getting a rubber duck) they are the clean ones.
Look around for ways to change up the bath routine, such as: epsom salts, bath oil, I already mentioned the rubber duck and a submarine, music, rubber bath pillows and some magazines that you can get wet and not care too much. Try meditating for awhile while in the tub.
As I said before I am on week 6 without vicodin today. And, I had several days that my pain and misery level fell backwards a week or so. That must be part of the deal and common during withdrawls I think Denon mentioned this fact as well. But I have not had a relapse into pain or discomfort now for about a week and a half. I finally feel pretty good with the exception of some lingering fatigue. My restless leg is now back to it's normal annoying level.
The restless leg was horrible the first 3 + weeks. I actually had it through out my entire body. I guess if you already have RLS it becomes magnified many times over.
Hang in there, you must be near the end of this. You are certainly getting close. You are not experiencing anything Denon or I haven't gone through that I can see from your posts. That doesn't make it easier for you, but it's got to reassure you that what your going through is the normal withdrawl misery all of us of the human species suffer. And only you can seperate your S.C. pains from withdrawls.
lastly, I am helping myself when I write to you.
